The Abuse Myth Project
Answering your questions so victims and survivors don't have to
Our Goal
The Abuse Myth Project is designed to dismantle myths and provide compassionate education on domestic violence for the friends and family of abuse victims.
Knowing the right thing to say to a victim of abuse can be difficult. Asking questions of a victim can put the victim in a position of having to educate you, when they're still learning and coping with their own trauma.
The Abuse Myth Project is here to answer those difficult questions. We're interested in helping all parties understand. We're interested in expanding education on domestic violence in the hope that we can create higher access to help, stronger support systems for survivors, and assist in the ability to recognize abuse early.
When you learn from The Abuse Myth Project, our allyship expands. We are individuals working to make a change, and now you can be a part of that mission.
